Over the years, Ellie’s Table At North Beach has become a local gathering place for the cozy community of San Clemente. Noticing the positive influence of this hometown feel and what it can provide for a neighborhood, we have decided to open another Ellie’s Table location a short drive up the road in San Juan Capistrano’s historical Egan House early 2016.
Already emanating with a feeling of nostalgia, The Egan House is the ideal location for Ellie’s next café. We see this building as a local icon that will bring the community together and give everyone a chance to share in its rich history. On top of everything else, it will be a great excuse to meet up with old friends and share stories while enjoying a delicious meal.
Our European style approach to classic pastries and a selection of savory dishes will bring a bit of our own culture into the vibrant community. Just like the original Ellie’s, this new location will offer customer favorites like the Kouign Amann, Breakfast Burritos, Jay’s famous Palm Sandwiches, as well as other well-known breakfast, lunch, and bakery selections.
This announcement is just the beginning of a wonderful collaboration between Ellie’s Table and The Egan House. We strive to preserve the historical integrity of the building, while bringing about a taste of something new. We love the welcoming atmosphere that defines SJC and can’t wait to meet the people of this charming town.
